Welcome to Maryborough MAC.
The Maryborough Aeromodellers Club (MAC) usually meets Wednesdays and Sundays however, there is likely to be someone every moring most days of the week so don't hesitate to drop in for a chat.
We fly different types of models ranging from Gaint Scale to small electric foamy planes, Turbine Jets, Methanol, Gas and Electric Powered Planes, Gliders, Helicopters and Drones.
Please restrict your speed into and out of our club to 20 kph as it assists us in keeping the dust down.
The club operates under an instrument (Area Approval) issued by the Australian Government Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and it is therefore imperrative that MAC Members,visiting Pilots and Spectators acquaint themselves with and abide by the MAC General & Safety Rules.

Fire Bans During periods of Total Fire Bans (TOBAN) for Queensland or locally for the Fraser Coast Region, the operation of Turbine and Lipo Battery powered aircraft at the MAC airstrip is NOT ALLOWED in accordance with the MAC General and Safety Rules.
MAAQ The Model Aeronautical Association of Queensland (MAAQ) is the body delegated by the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA) to be responsible for all aspects of model flying in Queensland.
